MINISTRIES
| AGAPE FELLOWSHIP |
| Agape Fellowship, our family fellowship group, meets on the 3rd Saturday, 6:30 p.m. This group usually meets in someone's home. Please contact the church office for more information. |
| WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP |
| Women's fellowship groups meet regularly and participate in special events. Please contact the church office for more information. |
| COMMUNIITY GARDEN |
| The Community Garden, located on the west side of the church lot, is an opportunity for neighborhood participation. Started last summer as a new project, it is again available for plantings in 2008. For more information, see the Garden page. |
| BIBLE STUDY: |
| All are welcome to Bible Study that is held on Tuesdays at noon in the church library. This small group gets into lively discussion, as we seek to understand the scriptures and how they apply to our lives. |
| CHOIR |
| Choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM. Directed by our pastor, Gary Shoemaker, and accompanied by the very talented Anni Stankovic, the choir is a great experience. |

WORSHIP SERVICES
| SUNDAY MORNING SERVICES |
Starting June 1, a new alternative service will start at 9:30 AM. There will no longer be any service at 8:30.
The 2nd service starts at 11:00 AM.
From 10:30 to 11:00 AM, there will be a time of fellowship, announcements and singing.
Nursery care is provided for newborns - age 5 during the second service.
Sunday School classes are suspended during the summer months starting June 1, 2008.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
| NEW ALTERNATIVE SERVICE STARTS JUNE 1 |
Starting with the first sunday in June, 2008 there will be a new alternative service. This service is to be organized especially for youger persons, but all are invited to participate.
On Youth Sunday, the young people issued a powerful challenge. That challenge was a cry for us to become a place where they could find meaningful worship and challenging community, or they would be looking elsewhere.
This new worship experience is part of our response to them. Some of us are a bit leery of such a move, and that's understandable.
We hope that this new service is received by the whole community as a refreshing wind from the spirit of God. |

| NEW BIBLE STUDY SERIES ON SATURDAYS |
| Gary is leading a new class exploring the teachings of Jesus in a new Saturday morning Bible Study (9 a.m. to 10 a.m.). The group meets in the office area. You are invited to come and help us glean these teachings from the four Gospels and discern what they mean for us today. This could be a very meaningful study. |
